I was born and raised in Milan, Italy. I grew up surrounded by the love and care of a large extended Italian family. I have many blissful memories of long, hot summers spent at my grand parents Baglio in the countryside of Sicily surrounded by art, amazing food, intense smell and passionate conversations.

In 2002 I began traveling and experiencing a world outside of Italy, living and working in a number of cities including New York, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Dallas until early 2017 when I made Portland, Oregon my home.

I have experienced and created art all of my life. In the last 12 years my love for portrait and figure painting naturally evolved into a love for photography and I have been a professional photographer since. 

In 2018, my entrepreneurial spirit, love of fashion, design and photography all came together when I launched my very own clothing line - Patrizia Montanari. A gender and size free collection that embraces modern, and simple silhouette with a minimalist approach. An inclusive range for all body shapes and personalities.

I travel to Italy every year and often more than once, my children spend summers in Italy since they were a few months old, as that is the best way for them to keep up with the language and culture and spend time with my family.

This year I am taking you with me! After 21 years in the United States and friends always asking me if they could tag along, it’s about time!!
